As a self taught designer, Ian cut his teeth in games developing the EverQuest and PlanetSide user interfaces. He went on to learn 3D modeling and continued to refine his UI design and game design skills by incorporating motion and user experience best practices. After 20 years of user interface design and numerous shipped titles, Ian has had the pleasure to develop games with companies like Sony Online Entertainment, Blizzard Entertainment, and Epic Games.

 

Nick Slough

Creative Director  /  Co-Founder

With humble beginnings as an animator and illustrator, Nick began his journey into UI once he dove into interactive marketing at Leo Burnett where he was given the opportunity to lead digital accounts for familiar names such as Citibank, ESPN, and Nintendo. He later began at Blizzard Entertainment and became a Principle UI Artist while shipping Starcraft II, Diablo III, and Heroes of the Storm. From here, Nick has worked to help develop brands and UI for awesome companies such as CD Projekt Red, Oculus, and Wargaming.net before helping to found BEHOLDER.
